For a few months now Tray has been salivating over Dunkin Donuts every time we see a commercial. Last week I decided to see if I could find a Dunkin Donuts near us. The closest one is in Pasadena, which is about 30 mins from our house.
Tray had to work today and in order for us to get the donuts before he woke up we headed to Dunkin Donuts at 4:30 am. I don't ever travel to Pasadena and well I got lost. Knowing my grandpa would be up I gave him a call to help me out with directions. With grandpa's help Lexi and I found it. A 30 min drive there took us 1 hr.
Not sure of what kind of donuts to get Tray I picked out what he usually asks for if we go to the local donut store: raspberry filled, lemon filled, and a cake donut.
When we got home and I made him coffee and put a bow on the box.
Tray asked me if I saw the bullet hole in the door. What?!?!?!?!?! Last week a fugitive and the cops had a blowout at that same donut shop.
There is a special childhood memory attached to Dunkin Donuts. When his family would go to visit granny and papa sometimes they would stop at Dunkin Donuts. The kids could only pick one and the rest were for granny and papa.
