Philip found this caterpillar in our yard.
Yes, it is pooping.
Thanks to Jay Smith for showing us what it will look like as a moth.This caterpillar is similar to the Western Tiger swallowtail. The diiference is the Tersa has several eye spots and a horn, while the Western Tiger has only one set of eyes and does not have a horn.
